FSD v14.3.8 - Cybertruck First Impressions Drive in a Downpour

In this drive, we test FSD version 14.3.8 on the Cybertruck across our standard Jacksonville route to evaluate unprotected left turns and navigation waypoints. We also test the thin chain obstacle, diagonal parking behavior, and performance during a heavy rainstorm with standing water.

Highlights:

- Executing an unprotected left turn and U-turn with smooth creep-and-wait behavior across multi-lane traffic.

- Evaluating V3 Supercharger stall parking alignment and charging cable reach.

- Testing the thin yellow chain obstacle, requiring driver braking intervention roughly 10 inches away.

- Diagnosing diagonal parking issues where the occupancy network stopped over six feet short of the curb.

- Encountering street parking that legally signaled and backed directly into a hashed area blocking a driveway.

- Driving through heavy rain, poor visibility, and flooded roads, including a brief red hands warning that immediately recovered.
