I don't know what blessed astrology I stepped into when I got Omid Scobie to agree to guest-host the pod BEFORE we knew about Prince Harry and Meghan's Nottingham engagements, but there is no one better to talk to than someone who was there back in 2017 for the couple's first royal visit as a newly engaged couple

Omid was an Honorary Member of the Royal Rota for years and is the NYT Bestselling author of "Finding Freedom", "Endgame" and a fictional series co-authored with Robin Benway called "Royal Spin" that has it's paperback release early next year.

Omid and I get into today's engagements, the press coverage, what's changed in Royal reporting since he was last in the game and why he decided to put himself back in the narrative (sorry I couldn't resist a Hamilton reference) with his brand-new Substack, Off-Script.
