#471 - Kyle Thompson // God Politics: Build That Wall

We challenge the modern lie that Christians should stay silent in politics and argue that civic engagement is part of faithful stewardship. We look to Nehemiah as a model of leadership that combines prayer, strategy, and action for the good of God’s people and the flourishing of a community.
• Satan’s tactics and the claim that disengagement from politics is a deceptive lie
• Why Christians voting and participating in the political sphere is an act of worshipful stewardship
• Nehemiah as a skilled politician and leader who leverages authority for God’s purposes
• The Jerusalem crisis and Nehemiah’s grief, confession, and dependence on God
• Nehemiah’s immediate prayer paired with a detailed plan, timeline, and resource requests
• Leadership lessons on strategy, resourcing, follow-through, and courage under opposition
• How ordinary people can have a “Nehemiah moment” through local involvement and voting for godly leaders
