Sunderland AFC embarked on a European journey for the first time since 1973 as we hosted & defeated the current Dutch league leaders AZ Alkmaar by a goal to nil at an electric Stadium of Light.

Gavin in Florida stepped in for hosting duties and he was joined by his fellow SAFC NASA colleague Sean in New Jersey.

Here's to new shores to conquer.

Ha'way The Lads!
