A powerful Christian supernatural testimony: William Dorsett says he died, experienced hell, and encountered Jesus. But the worst part wasn’t the pain. It was believing he would never leave.
William grew up as a pastor’s son, the youngest of 18 children. He knew the Bible. He grew up in church. But after leaving home for college, he began drifting away from God.
Then the warnings started.
Disturbing dreams. Unusual spiritual encounters. A feeling that light and darkness were fighting over his soul.
On Christmas night, after going out with his brother-in-law, William began feeling terribly wrong. He asked to go home.
When he lay down, William says he knew he was dying. He began praying for mercy.
Then everything changed.
William says he left his body and entered a place of torment. Some of what he experienced seemed disturbingly familiar.
He remembered movies he had watched.
Then he found himself in a well.
William says the figure tormenting him was the same figure he recognized from the horror movie The Ring.
But even that wasn’t the worst part.
He was exhausted. He wanted to sleep. But he couldn’t.
William describes overwhelming thirst, heightened senses, and the terrifying awareness that he was separated from God. He says the exhaustion continued, but rest never came.
It felt like thousands of years had passed.
He didn’t know he would return.
Then Jesus came.
William says he encountered Jesus in the spirit, rather than seeing a physical appearance he could describe. He asked questions about his life, wealth, and why he had been created.
He says God showed him why gaining the world means nothing if you lose your soul.
Then William returned to his body.
But coming back wasn’t the end of his story.
