SRV and Double Trouble rolled back into the Mann Music Center in Philadelphia on June 30, 1990, their fourth appearance at our favorite outdoor music venue in beautiful Fairmount Park in Philly! Listen as we go over his history and performances in our area, and two tunes from this night. The opener “Scuttle Buttin”, a fierce showcase for his stellar blues guitar playing and his band, and later in the set the classic hit “Cold Shot”. SRV loved playing these types of venues and this night was recorded and simulcast on local rock radio station WMMR.
