According to the Washington Post, President Trump and Defense Secretary Hegseth clashed at Camp David over the depletion of the U.S. military’s munition stockpiles during the war with Iran. However, President Trump has now defended Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
Hegseth is also facing growing criticism from Republicans on Capitol Hill as his public standing weakens.
There are also rumors of a massive cover-up at the Pentagon. Hundreds of civilians are reported to have been killed or wounded by U.S. strikes in Yemen last year, but the Pentagon has yet to publicly acknowledge the casualties or share a full account with congress. Could Hegseth’s day’s as Secretary of Defense be numbered?
