Before becoming New York City’s 27th Buildings Commissioner, Tigani served in several senior leadership positions at the Department of Housing Preservation and Development, most recently as Acting Commissioner. He also previously served as chief of staff at the DOB and held senior roles in the Mayor’s Office, Manhattan Borough President’s Office, and New York City Council.
