Read your chart in both Western and sidereal astrology and you get two moon placements, not one. For most people those land in different signs. But if your moon sits late in a sign, the sidereal reading pulls it back into that same sign and you end up doubled. Hagan Fox calls it a double moon, and he says that is when it hits twice as hard.
