In January 1973, CIA Director Richard Helms gave a verbal order and the MKULTRA files went into an incinerator. Nobody wrote the order down. Four years later, a clerk's unexplained filing decision surfaced seven boxes at a records center outside Washington. Eight thousand pages, all of it accounting. That historical mistake is the only reason anyone knows the program existed. On June 30, 2026, Congress reopened the case and went looking for the rest. (Full Documentary)
