Stock Market Today: The AI hardware trade felt tired Monday while the anticipatory run-up trade in financials seemed to be working well. Big banks and staples continued higher after hours Tuesday evening.
JP Morgan (JPM), Goldman Sachs (GS), Citi (C) and Wells Fargo (WFC) will kick off the Q3 earnings season Tuesday.
Traders look forward to TechCrunch's Disrupt 2026 event Tuesday, where NVIDIA's (NVDA) Jensen Huang and execs from Cerebras (CBRS), Rivian (RIVN), Amazon (AMZN), Google (GOOG) and Circle Internet (CRCL) will present.
Overnight news:
- Reddit (RDDT) saw an after-hours iceberg seller at $155 and $156 but the guys couldn't find hard news on the company or stock.
- Navitas Semi (NVTS) seemed to issue what Brent called "a fluffy" release highlighting another "collaboration" with NVIDIA (NVDA).
- Bumble (BMBL) saw a mid-day rumor of go-private interest which got shares of Match (MTCH) and Grindr (GRND) moving.
We'll have two great guests:
- Christian Fromhertz, founder and operator of Tribeca Trade Group, for a quick few-minute check in on the swing trade side of things and
- Jonathan Corpina, Senior Managing Partner at Meridian Equity Partners and Equity Trader at the NYSE.
Both of these guys will have numerous premier trading ideas and very likely will also be able to drop some great veteran market knowledge, wisdom and education on the PMP community.
