Dillistone Group PLC presented its interim financial results for the six months ended 30 June 2026, outlining its operational progress, financial performance and proposed transformation into a diversified, long-term acquisition group. Revenue declined 15% to £1.854 million, reflecting the planned withdrawal of legacy software products and challenging recruitment market conditions, while recurring revenue remained strong at approximately 90% of total revenue. Adjusted EBITDA was £0.215 million, representing an 11.6% margin, with management targeting a recovery to 25% or higher through operational efficiencies, cost reductions and the migration of Filefinder customers to its next-generation Talentis platform. The Group reported a positive cash balance of £0.436 million following a £1.5 million equity raise, which strengthened its balance sheet and supported debt repayment. Operationally, the business highlighted a stronger order book for its Infinity recruitment software, increasing adoption of AI-driven solutions and encouraging customer retention, with over 75% of migrating clients choosing multi-year contracts. Newly appointed CEO Gareth Hawkins outlined Dillistone Group's proposed growth strategy, focused on acquiring profitable, cash-generative B2B businesses across specialist support services, light manufacturing and niche industrial sectors. The acquisition model aims to generate sustainable shareholder value through disciplined capital allocation, operational improvement and reinvestment of cash flows. Subject to shareholder approval, the Group also proposes converting approximately £795,000 of outstanding loans into equity, reducing annual interest costs by approximately £73,000. Management anticipates stronger second-half performance and views the proposed strategy as a significant opportunity to build a diversified, resilient business with long-term earnings growth potential.
