HOLDOUT JUROR SINKS VERDICT, JUDGE DECLARES MISTRIAL | CHARLIE KIRK SHOW

A Massachusetts judge declared a mistrial Friday in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial after the jury stayed deadlocked on day seven. Clancy is charged in the 2023 strangling deaths of her three children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and infant Callan — in Duxbury. She has not denied the killings. The fight was over criminal responsibility.
Jurors had already flagged deadlock more than once. A foreperson note pointed to one juror who, the defense said, would not apply the judge’s reasonable-doubt instruction. Attorney Kevin Reddington asked that juror removed. Judge William Sullivan refused, sent the same panel back, then declared a mistrial when they still could not agree. Reports put deliberations near 36 hours after a nearly six-week trial.
Clancy stays held at Tewksbury Hospital. The Plymouth County DA now decides whether to retry, offer a plea, or drop the case. Reddington was given a short window to seek an emergency stay/appeal of the mistrial ruling.
