| Wildlife Conversations with/ Cari Siebrits, Episode 53 |
For Episode 53, I welcome wildlife photographer Cari Siebrits to the podcast! Cari is a wildlife photographer based in coastal British Columbia, whose work explores themes of conservation, coexistence, and our connection with the wild world around us.
She is a proud Ambassador for OM SYSTEM Cameras, a recent award recipient in Canadian Geographic’s Canadian Photos of the Year competition, and her work has been featured in print and digital outlets across North America. Cari regularly collaborates on conservation-focused projects with organizations like Parks Canada, Coyote Watch Canada, and the North Shore Black Bear Society, supporting initiatives that promote coexistence between humans and wildlife.
We discuss Cari's beautiful work from coastal British Columbia, the importance of shooting locally, coexistence, storytelling with our images, the lessons we learn from wildlife, vulnerability in sharing our art, and so much more!
