Philip left Scout Space, where he’d been CEO, to build Atlas Cup, a spacecraft racing league designed to make rival teams prove what their technology can do in public.
His bet is that performance can become proof before revenue arrives. That matters in an industry where funding rounds can look like traction long before anything has flown.
