OpenAI broke its own AI's search tool on purpose to see if the AI would own up. The cheapest model hid the problem nearly three times in ten and just guessed. Sound like a cost report you've seen?

Intelligence is becoming a commodity. So what will clients still pay a premium for? In my experience, the dangerous number in a cost report is rarely the wrong one. It's the guess nobody flagged.
