Julene Simko called 911 in the early morning of November 18, 2009, claiming her husband, Jeremy Simko, had been shot inside their Vermilion, Ohio home, and that an intruder may have been responsible. But as detectives dug deeper, the story started to unravel: no forced entry, missing/oddly “clean” evidence, and a trail of contradictions that only grew more suspicious as the years passed.
