Timothy Dale “Tim” Pasa was 50 years old when firefighters responded to a morning house fire in Centerville, Iowa on May 5, 2018, and discovered his body on the bed in the master bedroom. But investigators quickly noticed red flags, including disabled smoke alarms and evidence suggesting the blaze was staged, and an autopsy later indicated Tim had no smoke inhalation, meaning he was already dead before the fire started.
