We went into Tunggu Sekejap: The P. Ramlee Suite expecting a celebration of one of the great icons of local cinema and music but we weren’t expecting it to be presented quite like this.

Created and performed by Julian Wong (re:mix) and Fadhli Ramlee, this Wild Rice production takes the music and legacy of P. Ramlee and presents it through a concert experience that feels fresh, inventive and completely its own.

We loved the way the production celebrates an important piece of Singapore and the region’s cultural history while finding an exciting new way to introduce and reimagine P. Ramlee’s work for audiences today.
