Does anyone else feel like they were supposed to have their life together by now... because SAME. 🙃
I’m 26 and for some reason I genuinely thought that by this age I’d have everything a little more figured out. A steady career, maybe a boyfriend, a clear plan for what I actually want to do with my life... meanwhile I currently have about 500 different ideas and absolutely no idea which one I’m supposed to choose. 😂
In this solo episode, we’re talking about that horrible feeling of being “behind” in your 20s. Watching people around you get engaged, have babies, move countries, buy houses, smash their careers and seemingly know exactly where their life is going... while you’re sitting there wondering if you’re even on the right path.
I’m sharing all the things currently going around in my head — wanting to move to New York, grow the podcast, buy a property, do my Pilates instructor course, start a fashion brand... basically wanting to do EVERYTHING and then getting so overwhelmed by all the options that I end up questioning all of them.
We also get into comparison, procrastination disguised as “research”, being scared of wasting time or money, caring way too much about what other people think, and why sometimes you just need to give the idea you can’t stop thinking about a go.
Because maybe the problem isn’t that you don’t have your life figured out. Maybe you’re putting way too much pressure on yourself to know what the next 10 years are supposed to look like.
So instead of asking yourself “What am I going to do with my life?” maybe there’s a much easier question:
“What do I want to do next?”
If you’re in your 20s, feeling behind, changing your mind every five minutes or watching everyone else’s lives and wondering what you’re doing with yours... this episode is for you. 🤍
