With captain Dylan Larkin's desire to be traded still at the forefront, the incoming GM will have this saga waiting from the moment the ink is dry on a contract.

Beyond that, a proud franchise which hasn't made the playoffs in ten seasons appears to be in some disarray. Plenty to unpack as the Wings look to steady the waters.
