Miami Dolphins defensive tackle and team captain Zach Sieler returns to the Like A Farmer Podcast for a conversation that perfectly blends football, farming, fatherhood, hunting and the great outdoors. A lot has changed since Zach's first appearance. He's now a father of two, has signed a major extension with the Miami Dolphins, learned how to fly (and bought his own plane), and is building something special away from football on his family's 250-acre property in Missouri.
Zach opens up about why becoming a father changed the way he approaches the NFL and what it means knowing his son and daughter will one day watch how their dad carried himself on the field. He also explains why he wants to be a Miami Dolphin for life, how he's approaching a new era of Dolphins football as a team captain, and why the little details can decide games in today's NFL. Zach details his family's plans to begin raising cattle in Missouri and use their property to give kids hands-on experiences with agriculture, conservation and the outdoors. He shares the philosophy behind the mission "not all classrooms have walls" and why exposing the next generation to farming, fishing, hunting and nature means so much to him.
