Sarah Greenwell says she’s a rule-follower, but you wouldn’t guess that from much of her music. She fronts the raucous punk rock group GYMSHORTS, performing zany, off-the-wall songs like “DUI IUD” and “Ding Dong Ditch”. But dig a little deeper and you’ll discover Greenwell’s more intimate project, greeensleeves. This conversation covers her relationship with performing as both part of a band and as a more vulnerable solo act.
