Chicago the musical is the longest running revival in Broadway history, second only to Phantom as the longest running show ever, winner of the 2002 Oscar, rare crossover of broadway hit and movie hit,  is at the century anniversary of its first Broadway run, which was a play and not a musical.  Not a lot of shows go on for 100 years.

Today we'll look at the real crimes, the real women, the real victims, and the real spouses who inspired the show, and the author of that 1927 play, Maurine Watkins.
