Corrupt socioeconomic systems incentivize entitlement and rent-seeking, which can tempt us to view profit and wealth as the goal.
However, wealth is NOT a finish line, but a tool entrusted to us for the purpose of Kingdom Impact. God will hold us accountable for how we utilize our wealth either for worldly purposes or for God's redemptive purposes.
In today's episode, we finish looking at Redemptive Economic Principle #4...
"We reject idleness and dependence on coercive redistribution, instead choosing to create, build, and invest wisely, knowing that we will give an account for our management of God’s resources."
In this session we'll finish looking at Luke 12’s parable of the rich fool and the returning master imagery, which condemns selfish hoarding. Instead, the bible teaches that wealth should circulate to serve others and build kingdom impact.
