🌿 Episode Overview
This is one of our smaller in-between episodes: no proving this time, just a conversation. Less work, more fun ;)
Today's guest is Nicole Rose.
Nicole Rose is an organiser and herbalist who supports people experiencing state violence. She has been supporting loved ones in prison for twenty years and founded the Solidarity Apothecary. The project gives free plant medicines to people experiencing and recovering from state violence and repression, through care packages, books for prisoners, free clinics and more. Nicole wrote Herbalism and State Violence, The Prisoner's Herbal, Overcoming Burnout and the Medicinal Herb Colouring Book. She also hosts the Frontline Herbalism Podcast.
In this episode we talk about herbalism as an act of care and solidarity, and how plants can support people through trauma, burnout and hard times.
