For the Fans Fest, Sly Stallone Stories & Robot Wars (Sept. 23rd 2026)

In this episode of The Ham Radio Show, host Eddie Finocchiaro and co-hosts Ricky, Billy, and Joe celebrate surging global listener numbers and break in their custom Kiki Momo Cigars smoking jackets before diving into a packed lineup. The crew welcomes For the Fans Fest organizer Matt Rumer to preview the upcoming independent comic convention in Atlantic City, previews Eddie's upcoming SiriusXM event with Sylvester Stallone—bolstered by a call-in from longtime listener Jerry sharing college acting stories about Sly—and locks in their Week 3 NFL Perfect Picks. After a spirited Nor'easter weather dispatch from Frankie McDonald and a movie report on 1996's The Rock from Randy Unger, the team tackles a bizarre WTF News segment about AI and human-versus-robot fights before closing out the broadcast with "The Basement," a countdown dedicated to classic songs celebrating women alongside deep psychedelic cuts from The Electric Prunes and The Archies.
