We're checking clothing labels more than ever, but do we really know what we're reading? In this episode, I'm unpacking one of the questions I get asked most often as a stylist: when it comes to what our clothes are actually made of, which fibres are the best choice, for us and for the planet?
I'll walk you through the three families of fibre, from natural to synthetic to the semi-synthetic ones in the middle that trip everyone up. We'll talk about why so much of what we wear is quietly made from plastic.
Most importantly, this isn't about throwing anything out or feeling guilty about your wardrobe. It's about shopping with a little more clarity and intention, so the pieces you choose feel good to wear and last far longer.
If this episode gave you a new way to look at your wardrobe, I'd love for you to share it with a friend who'd find it useful too!
