My sister Cheryl spent most of her early life as a tomboy. Then she entered a pageant, expecting to lose, and eventually became Mrs. Tennessee.
What surprised both of us was how much that season taught her about far more than hair, makeup, dresses, and crowns.
In this episode, we're talking about beauty as a platform for purpose, rediscovering parts of your femininity you may have ignored, and what happens when another woman's beauty stops feeling like competition.
