What does channeling look like when you can physically watch Spirit move through someone’s body and create recognisable works of art?

In this episode, Shaz shares her experience of witnessing Brazilian medium José Medrado channel master painters, including Renoir, Monet and Van Gogh, during a live spiritual painting demonstration.
Over the course of the evening, José moved in and out of trance while ten paintings were created in just over an hour. Some took only two or three minutes, while others took longer as different energies, techniques and artistic styles appeared through his body.
Shaz describes watching José’s eyes roll back, his body shudder as the energy entered, and his posture, facial expressions and hand movements change with each painter. Working mostly with acrylic paint, he used sponges, scrapers, his fingers, his hands and only a small number of traditional brushes.
The paintings were created while his eyes were closed, yet José reached for specific colours and tools with certainty. Each artist appeared to bring a different speed, movement, physical expression and style.
Shaz also shares the moment she instantly recognised a Monet painting before the artist’s name was announced, followed by a Van Gogh work containing the familiar circular movement she associated with his art.
This experience became more than an evening of painting. It offered a physical demonstration of trust, surrender and what can happen when someone allows themselves to become a vessel for Spirit.
