Women, peace, and security cannot be achieved without women’s meaningful economic participation.   In this episode of Making Finance Work for Women, we sit down with the Georgetown Institute of Women, Peace and Security to explore how women’s economic participation enables women to shape recovery and build lasting peace in post-conflict settings. We will also examine why ecosystem actors must treat the recovery and the economic angle as a core pillar of the WPS agenda. Celebrating the launch of the white paper with GIWPS, the conversation highlights how investing in women’s economic participation can strengthen both peace and security.
