In this episode Joy and Laura break down season 6 episode 2 of Supernatural “Two and a Half Men”. Sam and Dean find themselves in charge of a baby boy when Sam rescues him from a crime scene where both of his parents were killed. They soon realise, however, that a shapeshifter is following them and wants the baby.
We discuss how Dean is torn between being a hunter again and protecting his family, Dean being “father material”, shapeshifter goo, and what we think would have been a better name for this episode.
We also stick up for all the parents out there who get made to feel bad for their baby crying in public, and Laura has a first time watcher theory about what Samuel and the hunters are up to.
Joy’s Easter eggs are about the location of Lansing, Michigan and all of its unsolved cases and urban legends; and links this episode has to various legends, mythology and religious scripture.
