Within 6 hours, I was the carer of a baby I’d only met once

This week on the podcast, Emily is joined by lawyer and former Sleep Chief client, Anusheh Burcher. Back in September 2021, Anusheh received a shock call from social services that would change her life. A 10-month-old member of her family required urgent care and Anusheh was called upon to take that carer role. Without any experience or preparation, Anusheh was caring for a baby within 6 hours. She shares how she managed that first night and then what became almost a year, what she learned and whether she would’ve done anything differently. Anusheh also discusses how the experience strengthened her desire to have children and her struggles with fertility.
