In celebration of Vultures Awareness Month, this first part of our two-part series dives into the mysterious world of vultures — from their unmatched ability to keep our landscapes clean to the powerful myths and beliefs that surround them. Gathered around the fireplace at Mpanga Nature Center, we explore their extraordinary sense of smell and discover how these birds shape both culture and ecosystems across Uganda.
