Gravity is built around the slow pull of a dancefloor coming alive.
Ach, what a show to start the Juice Joints first Sunday outing in its new slot. Every Sunday 2-4pm.
It starts warm and familiar with Missing You, Ain’t Nothin’ Goin’ On But The Rent and Piano Pump, before the groove starts tightening through Revolution, DaT Fonk, Keep The Fire Burning and Touch.
From there, the set moves deeper into soul, funk and vocal house, with Closer To Your Soul, Just Be Good To Me, Fresh, Lost In Music, Something Special and A Deeper Love drawing the room further in.
By the time The Colour Of Love, Hallelujah, Stand Up and Believe arrive, the journey has moved from invitation to full dancefloor connection.
You don’t notice when Gravity takes hold. You just realise you’re already in it.
