Barking, whining, ringing a bell, scratching at the back door — shouldn’t your puppy be able to tell you when they need to potty?
That would be wonderful for many of us, but the truth is most pups do not give a natural cue to alert you that they need to go.
As they grow you may start to pick up on their “signs”, or even begin to teach them a signal for you BUT there’s other things we would recommend first to get control of those potty accidents at home and get them potty trained quick!
