In episode one of series 2, Paul Obey, explores a vital question: how can the spoken word, and podcasts themselves, be more accessible for everyone?

In this first episode, I sit down with fellow brain injury survivors to share their lived experiences. From the frustration of endless phone menus to the challenge of filtering background noise, their stories reveal how overwhelming communication can feel.

We also hear from sound, vision, and accessibility experts who explain how subtle audio adjustments can make the world of difference, and why cognitive accessibility matters as much as physical access.

And for the first time, Thinking Ahead is becoming even more inclusive. For this second series, every episode will be available in video on You Tube with subtitles, so more people can access the content and join the conversation.
