The Good Wife Season 6 Episode 5, "Shiny Objects," puts Elsbeth Tascioni's brain on screen — literally. We open inside her head on a treadmill, in a cacophony of ice cream, clowns, pumpkins and xylophone music, and follow her into a sexism suit against a company that fired its female CEO for a "brash management style." Alicia and Dean take the other side, which means Alicia versus Elsbeth in open court. Meanwhile Diane clicks the world's most obvious phishing link and hands Florrick/Agos/Lockhart a $50,000 ransomware clock, sending her back to Lockhart Gardner to grovel at David Lee's feet. And on the campaign trail, Peter pulls a power move at Alicia's announcement in a very familiar hallway. We also debate whether the show did Elsbeth dirty.
