On this episode of Rich and Turbo’s Heavy Half Hour (S3E45), we have Gary and Ryan from the Portland collective Morrison Graves join the show. I loved their 2022 record, Division Rising, but was not sure if it was a one off or if Morrison Graves was a long term project…their new (and killer) EP, Under the Weight of Gravity, which dropped on July 17th, answers that for us in the best way possible. If you have not heard of the band, the closest comparison I would give would be The Black Angels, but these guys are their own thing for sure. We talk about the band, the new material, concept albums, the band name, which we get out of the way quickly, and so much more.
