A teenage boy discovers a prototype invisibility device in an abandoned lab. Initially using it for harmless pranks, he gradually escalates to more dangerous stunts. The story climaxes when a malfunction leaves him permanently invisible and unable to interact with the physical world, forcing him to watch helplessly as life goes on without him.
