We discuss the Vancouver Canucks’ rebuild and whether this is finally the direction the organization has needed for years. We look back at why Vancouver was so hesitant to commit to a full rebuild, what separates successful rebuilds around the NHL, and whether the Canucks already have the foundation of their next competitive team. We also discuss the realistic timeline for this rebuild, what could derail their plans this season, the importance of drafting and player development, and what needs to happen for Vancouver to eventually become a contender again.
