In this episode of The Hurt Locker, we sit down with actor and writer Ian Puleston‑Davies for one of our most open conversations yet.

For many, Ian is known for his work across television, film and theatre — but behind the career, he has lived with Obsessive‑Compulsive Disorder for most of his life. From the confusion and isolation in his childhood, to learning how to coexist with his condition as an adult and professional, Ian shares his story without filter.

He explains how OCD has shaped his thinking, his choices and his resilience — and why it took him so long to feel comfortable talking about it. This episode is for anyone who has ever felt like their mind works differently, or who feels they have to carry their struggles alone.

A conversation about understanding, acceptance and the strength it takes to keep going.
