Bruno Mars Biography Flash a weekly Biography.
Bruno Mars is closing this week with major momentum on both the road and the charts. On October 10 and 11, he brings The Romantic Tour to Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, marking his first full headlining stadium appearance there and another milestone in the largest solo touring chapter of his career. Santa Clara police have issued traffic advisories, while Capitol Corridor and Amtrak have adjusted service for concert crowds.
The tour’s Los Angeles dates also produced one of the week’s most memorable viral moments. During Mars’s performance of Marry You at SoFi Stadium, Lakers forward Ziaire Williams proposed to model Paris Timan as confetti fell. She accepted, and SoFi Stadium shared footage on Instagram. Mars was reportedly involved from the stage, encouraging the answer, although the couple’s engagement, rather than Mars himself, was the story that dominated social media.
At the same SoFi run, Mars featured BLACKPINK’s Rosé in his Angel Baby Cam. She danced to APT, their global collaboration, waved to the audience, and helped create another widely circulated concert moment. Reviews of the shows highlighted the combination of new material, vintage hits, and a Silk Sonic segment with Anderson .Paak.
The biggest measurable development is on the Billboard charts. According to Billboard figures reported by Foxy 99, I Just Might has reached 31 weeks at number one on the Hot R and B Hip Hop Songs chart, tying Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s Luther for the longest reign in the chart’s 68 year history. One additional week would give Mars the record outright. The song is also his tenth Billboard Hot 100 number one and leads The Romantic, his first solo studio album in nearly a decade.
Mars has also entered the 2026 Soul Train Awards conversation. Complex and Yahoo Entertainment report that I Just Might is among ten nominees for the first fan voted R and B Soul Song of the Year award, putting Mars in direct competition with Justin Bieber’s Yukon. Voting remains open through October 16, with winners scheduled for November 27.
There are no verified reports in the available coverage of a new business venture or major personal announcement. Online speculation beyond the documented tour activity, chart performance, award nomination, and concert videos remains unconfirmed.
