Trump's sweeping voter-fraud crackdown faces a major legal challenge after a federal judge ruled that Homeland Security's door-to-door investigations likely violate the Voting Rights Act. Federal agents have been knocking on doors, questioning residents about their voting history and making arrests as the administration expands its investigations into alleged noncitizen voting ahead of the midterms.
The judge's order is temporarily paused until Friday at 5 p.m., giving the administration an opportunity to appeal.
Former senior DHS official Miles Taylor joins Don to unpack the court ruling, the federal investigations and whether the Trump administration will comply with the judge's order.
