Breaking Glass (1980) follows new wave singer Kate (Hazel O’Connor) as she rises from the gritty punk scene to pop stardom. Flanked by aspiring manager Danny (Phil Daniels), she tries to hold on to her ideals (and her sanity) as she navigates the perils of the music industry.
