Blind Ambition: Overcoming Bullying, Breaking Barriers, and Building a Visionary Life | Ollie Cantos

My good friend, Ollie Cantos, who has been blind since birth, was born in Los Angeles to Filipino immigrants.

Ollie was the victim of daily bullying and taunts by other kids, his self-confidence and self-esteem were lacking. He did not think he would grow up to amount to much. He earned a law degree and became an attorney. Ollie is the first blind person to be elected to the City Council in West Covina.

There’s nothing more touching than watching Ollie interact with his three, adopted, blind, triplet boys – Leo, Nick, and Steven. The reason we wanted to visit with him is because of who he is as a person!

— More info about us — We’re two brothers from a family of 6 kids who for the most part grew up in Salt Lake City. We grew up doing lots of crazy adventures including almost suffocating in a snow cave together .
