How do we know if a child with cerebral palsy is growing well, and what happens when the regular growth chart says they're "failing"? Recorded live at AACPDM 2026, this episode features Dr. Richard D. Stevenson of UVA Health Children's, who has spent decades studying how children with CP grow.
Why standard CDC and WHO growth charts can mislead families of children with CP
How CP-specific growth charts by GMFCS level work, and how to ask your doctor
PICNNIC, an international consensus on malnutrition that includes Argentina, Colombia and Mexico
How the SGNA (Subjective Global Nutritional Assessment) could help families and clinicians with limited resources
And more!
