After studying at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and spending several years as an artist in residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, Hawijch is now entering an exciting new chapter, with major orchestral debuts, competition successes, and her debut solo album on Decca Classics.
Hawijch shares what it is like to suddenly spend much of the year travelling, performing and balancing the demands of an international career. She discusses the importance of having a supportive team around you, finding the right manager, and using time management to stay focused when everything from rehearsals and practice to flights and emails competes for your attention.
