About two weeks later, her son spotted her car with another man behind the wheel. A ski mask, rope and gloves were later found inside, but there was still no sign of Barbara. More than two decades later, a detective took another look at her disappearance and discovered something else was missing: Barbara’s original case file and evidence collected during the investigation could no longer be located.
