The Pistons remain confident they will reach a long-term agreement with Duren despite limited progress in negotiations. We discuss Duren’s shrinking market, his conversations with the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings, Detroit’s reluctance to facilitate a sign-and-trade and the possibility of accepting his $9.6 million qualifying offer.
